Air Travel Information

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR, Newark, NJ) in New Jersey is the closest airport to the College. The distance is about ten miles to the College. The other two airports in New York City are: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK, New York, NY) and La Guardia Airport (LGA, New York, NY).

Car service is available between campus and all three major airports. The cost for Newark Liberty airport is about $31 and $65 for JFK and La Guardia each way. A dispatcher at the taxi line will ask for your destination. He/She will write down the cost of the ride and give it to you. The cost does not include tips, tolls and luggage fees. From Newark Liberty International Airport by automobile: Take New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 13. Take Staten Island Expressway to Goethals Bridge. Stay on Staten Island Expressway East and get off at exit 8. Take the ramp towards Victory Boulevard and merge onto Christopher Lane and turn left onto Victory Boulevard. The campus is on your right.

From Newark Liberty International Airport by ground/public transportation: Ground Transportation Information is available in the baggage claim/arrival areas of all terminals.

AirTrain Newark is the regional rail transportation connection to Newark Liberty International Airport. Passengers traveling to and from Newark Liberty International Airport by rail should take scheduled NJ Transit or Amtrak rail service to new Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Link station. AirTrain JFK

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

By Bus

Victory Boulevard Buses - St. George (Staten Island Ferry)/Travis 
S62: Frequent weekday service and service every 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. 
From 8:30am to 11:30pm to the Ferry, and from 7:30am to 12:20am from the Ferry.
The S62 makes a stop inside the Victory Boulevard entrance of the campus. 

S92: Commuter schedule from Travis every 15 minutes from 6:30am to 7:42am and from St. George every 15 minutes from 4:50pm to 6:00pm.
The S92 makes a stop inside the Victory Boulevard entrance of the campus. 

Richmond Avenue Buses - North/South Route 
S44: Frequent service on weekdays and runs every 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday. 
S59: Every 30 minutes every day. 
The Richmond Avenue and Victory Boulevard stop is two blocks from the entrance to the campus. 

Forest Hill Road Buses - South Shore/St. George Route 
S61: Frequent daily and weekend service. 
S91: Commuter schedule weekdays. 
The S61 and the S91 stop at the East entrance of the campus. 

Brooklyn Buses 
S53: Bay Ridge–95th Street/Port Richmond 
Frequent weekday service.
The Richmond Avenue and Victory Boulevard stop is two blocks from the entrance to the campus. 
Stops at Victory Boulevard for transfer to S62 or S92.

S93: 86th Street and 4th Avenue/College of Staten Island campus
Limited service Monday-Friday 
Departs 86th Street at 6:55am, 7:55am, 8:55am
Departs CSI at 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm. 

Manhattan/Staten Island Express Bus 
X-10 Express Bus
Frequent daily schedule from 57th Street and 3rd Avenue to Victory Boulevard and the return route.
The Richmond Avenue and Victory Boulevard stop is two blocks from the entrance to the campus.

DRIVING

From the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge 
Westbound on the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) take the Victory Boulevard Exit (#10).  At Victory Boulevard, turn left and continue under the Expressway. Turn left into the campus at the first traffic light. 

From the Goethals Bridge 
Eastbound on the Staten Island Expressway (I-278), take the Victory Boulevard Exit (#8) and turn left onto Victory Boulevard. At the first traffic light turn right to enter the campus.   

From the Outerbridge Crossing 
Take the Westshore Expressway to the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) east towards the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.  On the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) east, take the Victory Boulevard Exit (#8) and turn left onto Victory Boulevard. At the first traffic light turn right to enter the campus. 

Local Roads 
Take Victory Boulevard to the main entrance; or Forest Hill Road for the back entrance to the campus, just south of the Institute for Basic Research. Please be aware that the Forest Hill gate closes at 5:30pm on weekends and 11:00pm on weeknights. Use the main gate on Victory Blvd. for weekend evening presentations.

Parking

On-campus parking is available to registered students and employees who purchase a decal and agree to observe all parking regulations. Decals are available from the Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services located in Building 3A, Room 106, telephone 718.982.2294. Students are sold permits for on-campus parking at the time of registration on a first-come, first-served basis. A detailed parking information booklet is available upon request. Speed limit: 25 mph.
